About XIBEI EATERY
Specializing in hand-pulled noodles and handmade shumai, along with rice bowls, small plates, and classic Chinese comfort food.
Located at 2775 N Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92705, XIBEI EATERY operates as a pan-asian restaurant serving Santa Ana in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Santa Ana, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (657) 600-8070. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 355 reviews, which is a strong result for a pan-asian restaurant in Santa Ana and suggests consistent service.
Santa Ana is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Ana follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Xibei Eatery is our new local favorite 'AUTHENTIC' Chinese food. The restaurant is located in the Mother's Market Plaza (South Orange / North Santa Ana), across the street from the Main Place Mall and the Discovery Cube. I had Beef Short Rib Oil Splashed hand-pulled noodles. The red peppers may look spicy but it was mild. The spices and seasoning added a lot of flavor to the freshly made thick noodles. The meat pulled off the bone, it was very tender. Make sure to get the combo. It starts out with a refreshing salad and it comes with green ice tea. My 10 year old daughter and Popcorn Chicken (popular Taiwanese-style street food). The bite-sized chicken pieces are deep fried, the and the fry/batter has a lot of flavor. The portions are good enough to share. My 7 year old daughter had the Xiao Long Bau (steamed dumplings); within the wrap is a savory broth and tender pork meat with a soupy favor inside. What's best is seeing her finish her dish. The owner and staff was very friendly and courteous. The interior of the restaurant looks really nice. I'm so happy we have an authentic Chinese restaurant nearby. It saves us from having to drive to Irvine.

Xibei Eatery had such delicious food and everyone was friendly! Service was quick and our waiter, Mars, was the sweetest ever! I got to meet another named Mark and he was very accommodating and made sure all of our questions were answered. We ordered 7 dishes and 2 drinks coming to a total of $120.99 which was an amazing bill for everything we got! There was no wait and the place was so pretty inside! Clean and ready to go. The food was amazing. Their hand pulled noodles were so soft and chewy with a little bit of spice. I also loved their garlic noodles a lot! Their Passion fruit green tea was so refreshing and paired well with all the food. Parking was shared in a plaza but the spot was easy to find. overall would give this place a 5 star rating!

Food was really flavorful. The noodles were tender and it said spicy but my 5-year old was really digging them. Had the wings they were okay sauce was okay and the butter noodles with beef sauce were very tasty. The xiao long bao is very tasty Love the atmosphere and the service was good. It was my first time here with my boyfriend and the food was sooo good! The portions were very big and delicious. The rib oil hand pulled noodles combo came with a salad side and a free green tea drink. The workers were so nice and always checked up on us. I would recommend this place to my friends and family in the future!

First time customer, the dining spot is very clean and wide. The staff was also very nice. There is also a lot of parking available. We ordered the lunch combo, xiaolong bao and beef noodle soup. I think a lunch combo with the beef rib with noodles, salad and drink I think was a good deal. Sadly, I did not like the passion fruit green tea, I think the ratio of passion fruit syrup was greater than the green tea. If I were to order another drink, I would just get the regular green tea. The beef rib was decently flavored and tender, definitely must have. Xiaolong bao was ok too, usually the tip always felt thick to chew on. Luckily, this restaurant's Xiao long bao did not use as much dough. Regarding the beef noodle soup, the beef was really tender and the noodles were soft as well. The soup is a bit bland, but I think it's because I usually like my beef noodle soup a bit more salty. Overall I think the experience is still very good, next time I will try the braised chicken rice and dan dan noodles.
